Lead Software Engineer

Empowering hundreds of teams across the enterprise to build data-driven services and moving tens of Petabytes of data with minimal architectural overhead by using Kubernetes Operators and CICD to automate the deployment, management and hosting of Enterprise-grade Distributed Systems for NoSQL Database and Data Streaming solutions across on premise and multi-cloud environments.

• Serve as technical lead for a team of 7 engineers responsible for building and maintaining a Platform as a Service offering widely used across Optum with hundreds of concurrent users.
• Collaborate with dozens of teams across the enterprise to encourage resource right-sizing while prioritizing platform stability and meeting business needs.
• Improve User Experience for infrastructure provisioning and management for hundreds of customers with varying levels of technical expertise.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers participating in rotational programs.
• Expand Service offering to the cloud for business partners with cloud data movement needs. Approximately 4+ Petabytes of data.
